The Walking Diary
Welcome to my Website.
I’ve been enjoying walking as a hobby for well over 15 years now and in addition to walks in the nearby Moors & Dales of Northern England, I have developed a particular passion for the Lake District, visiting this beautiful region most weekends.
Having kept years of records of all my walks on a spreadsheet called ‘My Walking Diary’ my son Calum suggested that I collate all my information onto a website to allow it to be better presented and also to allow access to other like-minded walkers who may also enjoy all the information I've collected. So, after many months of ‘writing up’ previous walks and keeping up to date with the new ones, I have pleasure in presenting my ‘Walking Diary’.
