Ribblesdale is the dale of the River Ribble in North Yorkshire. Towns and villages in Ribblesdale include Horton-in-Ribblesdale and Settle, the valley of the river is generally known as the Ribble Valley.
Ribblesdale is the home of Yorkshire's famous ‘Three Peaks’ walk - Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent. There are also a series of long-distance routes which pass through this area, namely the Pennine Way, Dales Way and the Dales High-Way.
