Osmotherley to Swainby and back

Thursday 20th April 2017

An evening walk from Osmotherley to Swainby and back (approx. 8 miles).

The outbound route took us along the Cleveland Way above Arncliffe Woods and then to Scarth Nick. It was at this point that the downwards route to Swainby was taken and a couple of beers and a Parmo was needed at the halfway point ! Not necessarily a good idea.

Then a very tiring walk back uphill to Scarth Nick, before heading back to Osmotherley via the roadside - passing Cod Beck Reservoir along the way. A good walk - would have been easier without the Parmo !
