Ling Fell

Small parking area in the copse just beyond Wythop Mill - This is an ideal spot to start this walk and spaces are always available.

Heading along the Lane towards Ling Fell.

I left the roadside, through the gate and headed onto the fellside

After firstly following the bridleway which seems to circumnavigate Ling Fell - I left the wide track and followed the grassy path uphill.

Here's a view back down with Sale Fell in the distance.

There's plenty of ways to climb up to the top of Ling Fell - just take your pick

I chose a different route to descend back down, there are quicker ways, but why rush.
