Howgills - The Calf

My first ever visit to The Howgills was pretty disappointing. The weather was awful and I cut short my plans because of it. I have always driven past the Howgills on the way to the lakes but never really given it any consideration due to my desire to get to the Lakeland playground. I will go again when good weather is in the forecast - but for this trip, even though I soldiered on, I'm afraid it was a bit of a washout, especially where photos are concerned.
