Hart Side & The Dodds

A gentle terrain walk from Dockray, overlooking Ullswater and Glencoyne to Hart Side and then along the very flat ridge from Stybarrow Dodd to Clough Head. A reasonably long walk - but a very enjoyable one.

Parking

Parking in the small hamlet of Dockray

Lovely views of Ullswater as we gradually gain height

We followed this dry stone wall for a while

I always enjoy walking along the Dodds - It seems such easy walking and generally easy going underfoot - granted there's no sharp ascents or dramatic terrain, but it's just good fellwalking territory.
