Fellbarrow & Low Fell

Sunday 1st April 2018

A lovely and reasonably gentle day out in the Loweswater area visiting the two small 'Wainwrights' overlooking the Vale of Lorton on one side and Loweswater on the other. Parking at Scalehill Bridge. The route we took started along the country lane towards Loweswater. Once alongside the lake, the route veers off onto Mosser Road and two miles further on it bears right off Mosser Road and up towards the summit of Fellbarrow. This easy walk then continues onto Low Fell and down the steep grassy side to Foulsyke.
