South Devon Day 6 - Brixham (Berry Head) to Torquay (Babbacombe).
A much easier day than yesterday although we did walk well past the main tourist part of Torquay (Torbay) around Hopes Nose and then up to Babbacombe. So the mileage was still significant, but the walk was generally easy and flat.
This area is known as the 'English Riviera' with the seaside hotspots of Paington and Torquay to visit along the seafront promenades and also the small town of Brixham sitting at the southern end of Torbay, which is a busy little fishing harbour.
Plenty of sights to see for once, other than the coastline and countryside - as there are no shortages of ice cream parlours, fish & chip shops plus amusements should we need them - we didn't, and to be honest, we were glad to be heading towards more traditional coastal walking tomorrow.
