Parked up on the roadside (cattle grid) on the road to Blea Tarn
A short walk along the road heading towards the tarn before veering off left up the fellside
You can see the path - it starts just after the white cottage and is to the right of the tree filled ravine
Looking over to Blea Tarn with Blake Rigg and Horse Crags behind
Looking back down the path that could be seen in the previous photo
The Langdale Pikes - with Side Pike in front
Lingmoor Fell summit. I made a speach here with about 30 of my friends and family when I completed my first round of Wainwrights some 4 years ago (wonderful memories).
All on my own today though.
Pike of Blisco on the left, The Band on the right and Oxendale in between. You should be able to see Crinkle Crags and Bowfell but they are underneath that bank of cloud.
Never tire of seeing Blea Tarn - The Premier League tarn of the lakes
Following the wall along Lingmoor towards Side Pike
And again... plus the Langdale Pikes over the other side of Great Langdale (L-R, Loft Crag, Harrison Stickle, Pavey Ark, & Seargent Man)
