High Street, Thornthwaite Crag, Mardale Ill Bell & Harter Fell from Mardale Head

Parking at Mardale Head, we climbed to High Street via Rough Crag and the Long Stile Ridge. A fantastic walk up a ridge with lovely views of Mardale and Haweswater with Harter Fell and Blea Water over to the left.
After High Street, it was on to Thornthwaite Crag followed by Mardale Ill Bell & Harter Fell before returning to Mardale Head via Gatesgarth Pass.
A first walk in the lakes for my friend from work, Kevin & his son Matthew - A great one to start with.
