Great Mell Fell

Sunday 16th October 2016

A lone Fell - Great Mell Fell. Although small, this is a very interesting little fell with it's windswept and weird looking leaning trees ! an enjoyable short climb with a lovely lush green summit.

We parked up at the obvious place, Brownrigg Farm roadside - there's a handful of spaces to choose from and there's almost always a place.

Robert was keen to start bagging, so this was the first of the day - an 'out and back' to tick an easy one off !
