Walking along the side of Barrow with Uzzicar (weird name !) up ahead by the road
The majestic Cat Bells
On the climb up Rowling End - a lone tree
Newlands valley and it's horseshoe of fells, taken from Rowling End en route to Causey Pike
Causey Pike ahead (slightly to the right) and Ard Crags on the left
From the top of Causey Pike looking towards Scar Crags and the very enjoyable ridge walk (except for the ascent of Sail that is - yuk !)
A glance over to Robinson and all the Derwent Fells
There's Bassenthwaite in the distance and you can just see Outerside to the left of the foreground and Kinn just further on
Now on Scar Crags looking back along the ridgeto the knobbly summit of Causey Pike
Leaving Sail and now heading for Crag Hill
Following the gentle/flat path round the edge to Wandope
After a visit to Grasmoor, I came down 'off path' from Eel Crag to Coledale Hause.
I then finished off this very strenuous walk with a nip up to Grisedale Pike, and then back to Braithwaite via Kinn.
Great Day out, but I was tired at the end of this one !
