Walking Diary (All Walks) Lakeland Wainwrights Eastern

A walk from Glenridding up to Birkhouse Moor, but then turning right at the 'Hole in the Wall' rather than carrying on to Striding Edge as most people do. Lunch at Red Tarn before heading up to Catstye Cam and then straight over and down the other side towards Glenridding Beck, before following Greenside Road back to Glenridding. A very enjoyable walk between Christmas & New Year.
