Ripon & Studley Royal Park

A circular walk from the cathedral city of Ripon in North Yorkshire. Very easy going, lovely scenery, open countryside, woodland and rivers along with the impressive (lakeland'esque) Studley Royal Park.

As we were both still recovering slightly from colds and flu - We decided to do a gentle walk, not too far from home which would give us some fresh air and healthy exercise. This was the perfect selection - just right at three hours and with very little ascent, plus the added benefit of being within interesting and scenic countryside. Certainly, a walk I would like to do again one day, maybe with my wife, she would probably enjoy this one providing it isn't muddy and I could find a good pub at the end (I'm sure I can).
