Raven Crag

Sunday 16th October 2016

A short and fairly easy circular walk bagging Raven Crag. Raven Crag always offers superb views over Thirlmere, but in recent years with the many fallen trees due to storms, access has been tricky due to United Utilities placing restrictions. There were no problems today.

The usual starting point for this walk is this small parking area on the west side of the dam. There is also a layby a little to the north which is directly opposite the start of the path.
