A relatively easy day compared to the previous six. Lots of beach walking, seal spotting and the usual enjoyment of the stunning landscape

Red hot & sunny again - Spectacular coastline as always, this is one of the best places to walk - I will be doing this again one day.
Crane Islands in the distance
Seal spotting as we approach Deadmans Cove
Simply stunning - Navax Point
Godrevy Island
Surfers everywhere - The beach and sea just look so inviting
We took the route along the beach when going round St Ives Bay to Hayle.
Tempting to take your boots off and have a paddle.
Soon after this we left the beach and headed for Hayle and the Best Pastie Bakery in Cornwall (apparently). Our hopes were high for a real treat as to date we struggled to decide which town had the best ones (the current leader was Boscastle).
After a very long wait (about 45 minutes) and some interesting chats with tourists from different parts of the world who were there for the same reason as us, we got our traditional Cornish Pastie.
Didn't hit the mark I'm afraid ! all that 'bigging-up and it failed to deliver - well, maybe we hit it at a bad time.
Almost at Carbis Bay - Looking onto Porth Kidney Sands, is there no end to this beauty
St Ives
St Ives - our stop for the night.
Upon arrival at our Hotel - and enjoying our 30mins chill we sampled some of the local cider.
Icy cold cider, when we were hot and tired... one of my most memorable drinks of any trip, hard to describe, but just so enjoyable... roll on day 7
When your burning the calories that we are, you can feast on pub grub and as much beer as you want till your hearts content !!
