Mosedale Horseshoe - 9th July 2018

A very tiring, but great day in the sun doing a Mosedale round - the beer certainly tasted good after this one ! We walked up Mosedale to the Black Sail Pass before climbing Pillar, down and up Wind Gap, before ascending Scoat Fell, a quick dash over to Steeple and then Red Pike. On the way back down, myself and Robert nipped up to Yewbarrow using the easy diagonal path up from Dore Head to bag another Wainwright for him - 5 of them today, good going !

Looking into Ennerdale after a left turn at the Black Sail Pass

Still feeling good after the long haul up Mosedale to near Looking Stead. Yewharrow and Door Head directly behind.

Time to take in the magnificent view. From Left to Right - Kirk Fell, Scafell Pike, Scafell, Burnmoor Tarn, Illgill Head & Whin Rigg - Not many views better this one in my opinion (although its not quite in my top three)
