On route to todays walk my car clocked up 100000 miles - vast majority of these have been due to many hundreds of trips to the lakes and back via the A66. Great car - really comfortable and cruises lovely, not to clever in the snow - but you can't have everything
9:30am - nice and early today. Perfect parking spot opposite the 'new' Martindale Church
Starting off towards Hallin Fell I look over to where I will descending at the end of my walk - Beda Fell
And again looking back with the nose of Steel Knotts to the left and Beda Fell to the right
Loadpot & Wether Hill with a snow covering
Glorious Martindale with The Nab standing guard at the end
Hallin Fell
