Great Langdale - A walk from Chapel Stile to Blea Tarn

Thursday 18th May 2017

A superb walk from Chapel Stile (our Hotel in fact) along the Great Langdale valley to firstly the New Dungeon Ghyll and the Stables bar - followed by the Old Dungeon Ghyll pub - a glorious day with the added treat of a walk round the most picturesque Blea Tarn. Another cheeky drink back at the ODG before catching the bus back down the valley to our starting point in Chapel Stile. The visit to Blea Tarn wasn't planned and can be a bit tiring - but my wife was keen, so who am I to argue.

A wonderful days walk, in possibly the most beautiful part of the lakes.
