Grasmere - Tarn Crag (Easedale) to Steel Fell

As we set off towards the village of Grasmere we see Steel Fell to our right - Our final part of todays walk

A right turn in the middle of Grasmere at Easedale Road - and it's off into the lakeland countryside

An often used picnic spot for me - but not today, all sandwiches long gone

Approaching Calf Crag and the crossroads where the coast to coast path crosses this route. It was 10 years ago exactly that me & Paul walked that very path on route to Robin Hoods Bay - What great memories.

Now to head over to Steel Fell. Most the hard work is done for the day, this is a relatively gentle stroll across to our next Wainwright
