Day 1 Cotswold Way - Chipping Campden to Winchcombe - 1st July 2018

Sunday 1st July 2018

It's July - Here we go again, The Cotswold Way this year - Anticipation was growing as we enjoyed our first drinks in the beautiful town of Chipping Campden, the forecast was great so spirits were high (and the world cup was on !).

The first stint was quite a long one at 20 miles from Chipping Campden to Winchcombe, but we expected the walking to be a lot easier that last years Cornwall trip.

This days walk took us to some typically quintessential English villages such as Broadway, Stanton and Stanway - I'm not sure if the stunning villages and rural countryside will be any better for the rest of the walk - we are walking in the 'Golden Triangle' apparently.
