Blencathra, Mungrisedale Common, Bannerdale Crags & Bowscale Fell

A lovely snowy walk at the northern fells today, with whiteout conditions at times.

Parking at the Blencathra Centre Car Park, I headed up Blease Fell before visiting Mungrisedale Common, Bannerdale Crags & Bowscale Fell - On the way back the route chosen was via the Cumbria Way and past the Skiddaw House YHA.

Gone !! Whiteout - Now where exactly is that edge ?

Ah, I can see again GPS certainly helped back there. It's one of the few times where it was a real help to my general safety - not just for navigation.
