West Highland Way Day 4 - Crianlarich to Bridge of Orchy

This walk was done well before I ever considered having a walking diary website, so the memories of those six days are limited - as are the photographs available for use. So, I'm recording what I have, but it falls short of the records that I would like to present.

Day 4 started a bit wintry and overcast but soon brightened up. The first stretch is forestry, before descending and crossing the River Fillan and then on to Tyndrum where an early afternoon beer was enjoyed. The next section to Bridge of Orchy is predominantly along the very flat 'Old Military Road' again although the views are always impressive. I found a lot of the West Highland Way was amongst a fantastic mountainous backdrop, but there wasn't as much ascent as I had expected. Is that good or bad ?
