West Highland Way Day 2 - Balmaha to Inversnaid

West Highland Way Day 2 - Balmaha to Inversnaid.

This walk was done well before I ever considered having a walking diary website, so the memories of those six days are limited - as are the photographs available for use. So, I'm recording what I have, but it falls short of the records that I would like to present.

The second days walk was all along the banks of Loch Lomond with a brief visit to the tiny Rowardennan where a pint was enjoyed. The path meanders along the loch shoreline with often single file only possible. We stayed at the Inversnaid Hotel on day two - fantastic setting overlooking Loch Lomond, but it's a bit odd when a group of 4 lads, all in their fifties, are classed as the youngsters during the stay. Maybe it was just the night we were there, but we did notice the restaurant staff all had a very well trained 'bedside manner'

Anyway - it can't be faulted for it's stunning setting.
