Summer Walk 2019 - Ripon

Friday 9th August 2019

Our Summer Walk of 2019 took us from Ripon alongside the Ripon Canal before following the River Ure to Bishop Monkton where we stopped for lunch and a few beers at The Masons Arms (Really nice place). We then walked to Burton Leonard and South Stainley before our final stage to Markington. We'd arranged for a taxi to take us from Markington back to Ripon where we enjoyed the rest of the night - One of the pubs - The 'One Eyed Rat' was excellent.

The walk itself was gentle going on pretty easy terrain, but it was the 12 pints that got me - Sore heads all round !
