Poor weather in the West - So a trip to the East Coast today - Ruswarp, Stainsacre, Cleveland Way (Coast), Whitby - 12th January 2019.

Starting Point for todays walk - Ruswarp Railway Station

Right turn towards Stainsacre

A brief encounter with the A171 and then off the roadside onto the path towards the coast

The Cleveland Way along the coast to Whitby

Suggest you avoid the old track - may not have a happy ending !

Over the swing bridge, turn left and follow the river inland

Pick up the Esk Valley line and follow the signposted footpath back to Ruswarp

Very quiet - no trains to snap

And back at the railway station...
