Walking Diary (All Walks) Long Distance Walks North Devon - SWCP 2019

Day 3 on the walk in North Devon takes us from Lynmouth to Combe Martin although we pressed on a little further to a place called Berrynarbor where we stayed at a really nice hotel as a treat.

The day was very interesting as we visited the Valley of Rocks, climbed Great Hangman and also joined the Tarka Trail - glorious weather again as the sun was with us all day long, over this much harder section of the trail.

Beautiful morning in Lynmouth - time to get some supplies as I don't think there's much to rely on further down this stretch.

Someone took the guest house room key with them ! Doh !

The first zig zag climb of the day up alongside Lynmouth's Funicular railway.

Heddons Mouth - there's a climb coming up !

All the way down to the bottom - You can just make out the path on the other side for our trip back up. You get used to this with coastal walking.

Some flies seemed to be attracted to us around here - must be the aftershave ! - Time to go for the 'Skin So Soft' and get protected.

This one has been around for a while.
