Walking Diary (All Walks) Lakeland Easy Walks Far Eastern

A must for any couple who enjoy the lakes. Park up at Glenridding and get the Steamer over to Howtown. Walk back alongside Ullswater to Patterdale (for a refreshing drink) - and then back to Glenridding. Highly recommended especially in good/dry weather.

Parking

A bit of a damp start for our 35th anniversary weekend celebrations in the lakes. Ullswater Steamer to Howtown voyage was spent up top due to sea sickness - where the dreaded drizzle was a constant threat to Christine's perfectly prepared hair - this is going to be fun !

Off the steamer and time to see how far we get before the first complaint arrives

This is a wonderful walk around the shoreline of Ullswater - not always fully appreciated if it's drizzly
