Braithwaite Roadside - My usual spot for walks around here

All quiet in Braithwaite village

The gentle stroll up to Braithwaite Lodge

The damage done here is unbelievable - Surely this path could have been provided with a little more thought, it looks awful and it's not really much fun to trudge up it. Paul once said to me... "mate your gonna have to stop coming down these hills on your a**e - look at the mess your making !"

I keep waiting for nature to reclaim it back and disguise it - but I don't think it's going to happen

Sail Summit - Nice spot once the path is out of sight

Crag Hill summit (or is it Eel Crag ?) - Aw calls it Eel, but OS maps have the summit as Crag Hill with Eel Crag further towards Coledale Hause.

There doesn't look much of a path down this north side but it looks walkable ? Has anybody ascended to Wandope summit this way or are there hidden problems ? It looks like a good route but there must be something wrong as I would have expected to see a well walked path
