Day 12 - Grosmont to Robin Hoods Bay

The glory walk - Feeling fit and in good spirits we are joined by quite a few today to do the final leg of the coast to coast. Gemma, Lauren & Calum joined us and Gemma's boyfriend Jonny and his parents also came along to support.

We visited Falling Foss, Littlebeck Wood, High Hawsker (for a beer) - before reaching the coastline and following it round to Robin Hoods Bay where we enjoyed the last hour or two in the sun outside the Bay Hotel and it's Wainwrights Bar. We were fortunate to also meet up with some of our friends that we'd made over the last 12 days, who also arrived at roughly the same time. Boots were wetted in the North Sea and pebbles were despatched as tradition requires. Now to celebrate !

I've said it a few times already, but this walk is the most friendly and sociable walk I've ever been involved in - I enjoyed every single minute of it and hope one day to do it all over again for a third time. I would whole heartedly recommend it.
