Beauchaille Etive Beag - 17th June 2018

Sunday 17th June 2018

Parking at the Glencoe car park opposite the Beehive Cairn, we climbed the excellent path up to Stob Coire Raineach from the Allt Lairig Eilde and then re-traced our steps back to the bealach before going over to Stob Dubh - Unfortunately due to very poor visibility and a lack of care to check on my behalf- we actually didn't reach the summit of Stob Dubh, stopping at a false top some hundred metres too soon. The weather was poor and the hopes of views over to its twin, Buachaille Etive Mòr were dashed - an occasional glimpse was gained on our descent, but that was it. Not many photo's were taken as this walk wasn't the classic we had all hoped for. Beaten by the weather I'm afraid. We said our farewells back at the car park as John & Paul were heading to Glasgow for a gig.
